In The Wilderness Saga Universe DJ Slywing fresh off of the controversy surrounding her and the rapper Sig Alert finds herself in need of reinventing her sound and her image.
To do this, she joins forces with the newcomer Cooter DeVille and the rapper once known as YNG LVR, who finds himself also needing to reinvent himself by paying homage to the name of his murdered father under the moniker Kid Casa Goldblum.
lyrics
Cooter DeVille
How about that? Stone cold riff raff
trippin’ on the Bigwigs, as part of the wait staff
Wearing black slacks, white shirt and an attitude
to match those of the ones that I’m servin’ to
I go, I come,
I clean, I run
into the kitchen for a refill of chum then it’s
back out, feed the sharks and get the heave ho
like mistreatment of the help boosts libidos
As I walk away I hear someone call me “Inbred”
Say I probably drive a truck that’s c-c-c-cornfed
Wanna kick his molasses
who laughed...kiss my crassness
Still hear his words even when the job ends
Up in the cut, serenaded by the sirens
That’s the way of the go in this zip code
Country boy California Dreaming, keep your No Doze
Don’t wanna burn, just wanna turn tides
Just like the moon in the star filled sky
If you don’t need the high life to capture the thrill
I’m at your service, yo it’s Cooter DeVille
Kid Casa Goldblum
Check my fly, then I check my breath
last look in the mirror now to face the stress
walk into the restaurant to meet my blind date
hope against hope that I’m about to meet my soulmate
Present myself, not as Kid Casa Goldblum
That’s just the name that I use in the Show Rooms
Try to start things off with a little humor
The way she reacts, that’s not the way to woo her
So I settle in, for the long interview
try not to let things change my point of view
because it seems all she knows of male affection
is what to do when shown an erection
The more that I hear, the more that I’m aware
of the reasoning behind the thought we should pair
She needs someone who can see her from the inside
I need someone who knows what it feels like
to hold your hand to your heart and pledge allegiance
to a cause that only seems to bring you grievance
And though I see in her potential four leaf clover
She looks at me and says this date is over
